˚⊱🪷⊰˚|| Paramēśvara Paramabhaṭṭāraka Gauḍēśvara Śrī Mahīpāla Dēva l [988-1038 C.E.] ||˚⊱🪷⊰˚
🌙📜 Like the thousand-rayed moon taking shape from Sun, from Gaudeshvara Vigrahapala was born king Mahīpāla, bestowing crorcs of riches. That son, pleasing to the eyes, clear (in mind) and expert in fine arts allayed, after his coronation, the sufferings of all beings.
⚔️📜 The ruler of the Earth —prosperous Mahīpāla, after slaying the entire host of enemies in battles with the sheer prowess of his own arm, he regained the kingdom of his father, snatched away by those who had no claim to it and (thereby) placed his lotus feet on the heads of all kings.

⚔️📜 The ruler of the Earth —prosperous Mahīpāla, after slaying the entire host of enemies in battles with the sheer prowess of his own arm, he regained the kingdom of his father, snatched away by those who had no claim to it and (thereby) placed his lotus feet on the heads of all kings.
🐘📜 The cloud like mighty tuskers, belonging to his infantry drank clear waters in the eastern country, full of rivers and then roamed freely in sandal groves of Malaya valley, and after that enjoyed the slopes of the Himalayas, all the time benumbing the trees with thick water sprays.
🛕📜 The two brothers Princes Sthirapala and- Vasantapala, who were entrusted with the charge of construction of hundreds of notable things, such as Īśāna, Chitraghanṭā and the like at Kāśī by Mahipala, the lord of Gauḍa, after worshipping at the lake of Vārāṇasī the lotus feet of his preceptor Bāmarāśi, — feet, which being covered by hair of bent-down kings looked like a clustre of mosses,— brothers, who being of fruitful scholarship never deviated from the path of enlightenment — renovated the Dharm'mastupa and the entire wheel of religion and reconstructed the holy shrine made of stones and containing eight great positions.

☀️📜 সূর্য্যদেব হইতে যেমন কিরণকোটি-বর্ষী চন্দ্রদেব উৎপন্ন হইয়াছেন, গৌড়েশ্বর বিগ্রহপালদেব হইতেও সেইরূপ রত্নকোটি-বর্ষী মহীপালদেব জন্মগ্রহণ করিয়াছিলেন । নয়নানন্দ-দায়ক সুবিমল কলাময় সেই রাজকুমারের উদয়ে ত্রিভুবনের সন্তাপ বিদূরিত হইয়া গিয়াছিল।
⚔️📜 গৌড়েশ্বর শ্রীমহীপালদেব রণক্ষেত্রে বাহুদর্প-প্রকাশে সকল বিপক্ষপক্ষ নিহত করিয়া, “অনধিকৃত-বিলুপ্ত” পিতৃরাজ্যের উদ্ধারসাধন করিয়া, রাজগণের মস্তকে চরণপদ্ম সংস্থাপিত করিয়া, অবনিপাল হইয়াছিলেন।
🐘📜 তদীয় অভ্রতুল্য সেনা-গজেন্দ্রগণ [প্রথমে] জলপ্রচুর পূর্ব্বাঞ্চলে স্বচ্ছ সলিল পান করিয়া, তাহার পর [তদনু] মলয়োপত্যকার চন্দন-বনে যথেচ্ছ বিচরণ করিয়া, ঘনীভূত-শীতল-শীকরোৎক্ষেপে তরুসমূহের জড়তা সম্পাদন করিয়া, হিমালয়ের কটকদেশ উপভোগ করিয়াছিল ।
🛕📜 সরসী-সদৃশ-বারাণসীধামে, চরণাবনত-নৃপতিমস্তকাবস্থিত-কেশপাশ-সংস্পর্শে শৈবালাকীর্ণরূপে প্রতিভাত, শ্রীবামরাশি নামক গুরুদেবের পাদপদ্মেরর আরাধনা করিয়া, গৌড়াধিপ মহীপাল [যাঁহাদিগের দ্বারা] ঈশান-চিত্রঘণ্টাদি শত-কীর্ত্তিরত্ন নির্ম্মাণ করাইয়াছিলেন, তাহাদিগের পাণ্ডিত্য সফল হইয়াছে, - তাঁহারা সম্বোধি-পথ হইতে বিনিবর্ত্তন করেন নাই। সেই শ্রীমান্ স্থিরপাল ও শ্রীমান্ বসন্তপাল [নামক ] অনুজ “ধর্ম্মাধিকার” ও “সার্ঙ্গ ধর্ম্মচক্রের” জীর্ণসংস্কার এবং “অষ্ট-মহাস্থান”-শৈলবিনির্ম্মিত “গন্ধকুটী” নূতন করিয়া নির্ম্মাণ করিয়া দিয়াছেন ।
