Rayashrestha Maharaja Pratapaditya

Image
At the beginning of the 16th century, when the shadowy darkness of the tyrannical Mughal Empire began to spread throughout India, the 8 independent Hindu kingdoms of Bengal kept the torch of independent traditional rule burning in Eastern India during the period of unrest. Among these kingdoms, under the leadership of Agnikul Gaurab Raishrestha Maharajadhiraj Pratapaditya of Jessore kingdom, the power of Hindus gradually took shape, and by landing on the front line against the invasion of the Mughal empire, he spread his rule over the whole of Bengal and built an integral traditional Jessore empire. At the end of the 16th century, Maharaja Pratapaditya extended Jessore's borders from Puri to Sandwip by suppressing the Lohani Pathans of the Orissa Sultanate and the Portuguese in the creeks. By ousting the Mughals from the whole of Eastern India and declaring the independence of Bengal, he re-established the Bengali nation's past glory of valour. Maharaj Pratapaditya ...

☀️🔱 Śubha Narabarṣa 1430. Today is the 1430th coronation ceremony of our Emperor Gaudeshwar Maharajadhiraja Sri Shashanka Deva.  Following the postulates of Suryasiddhanta, ParamShaiva Samrat Shashanka Deva introduced the national calendar system of the Gaudiya Bengali nation - "Bangabda" or Shashanka Samvat. Later, following the path of Emperor Shashanka, Bangabda was used in various temple inscriptions by several Bengali Royals. 1) ParamaShaiva Sri Harapadarat Latangdev Bhatta, a general descendant of Emperor Shashanka, is mentioned in the Champahati soil inscription in Bangabda San 79 Ashwin (672 AD). This is the oldest archaeological evidence of Bangabda. 2) Shaivite Sena dynasty emperors were the pioneers of Bangabda. In the 11th century AD, references to Bangabda have been found from two Shiva temples of Dehargram and Sontapal villages of Bankura in the Gauda Empire during the Sena era. 3) Narasimh...

The Bombs of Bengal Revolutionaries 💣 The Bombs developed at the Rajabazar Center of the Anushilan Samiti were much more explosive than other types of bombs. In the police records, such a bomb made at Rajabazar center has been called as " Rajabazar type bomb ". The report of the Sidson Committee on the Rajabazar class of bombs states that such bombs “supplanted the spherical bomb” and such bombs “were used in later outrages throughout Bengal and in other provinces” – such bombs took the place of circular bombs and later became the country of Bengal. Such bombs are used in revolutionary activities everywhere and in other provinces. According to the information collected by the British Commission, Sri Aurobindo, after his departure from Pondicherry, was entrusted with the task of making bombs at Chandannagar, named Sri Suresh Chandra Dutta, an M.Sc. in Chemistry, resident of Srirampur on a student studying in the class.  Later, he was assist...

Image
On the birth anniversary of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu today on Dolapurnima 1429 Bangabda, realize - "Sri Chaitanya - As He Really Was" _ 'Qazi Dalan' [Oppressing the Qazi].  The rising popularity of Sri Chaitanya and the rise of Hindus under his leadership caused headaches for the Yavanas. So Chand Qazi issued an order to stop chanting the Vaishnava name and performed cow slaughter.  Enraged, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu surrounded the Kazi's house armed with his Gaudiya councilors and ordered them to break down the Kazi's house and set it on fire.  When the chanting of Kirtan was banned by the order of Chand Qazi in Nadia and the brutal persecution of the Vaishnavas began, Sri Chaitanya Deva gave in fiery speech: "We shall break the house and doors of Qazi, we shall openly chant Kirttana and see what harm he can even do. Nobody of us will have a single drop of fear in our mind." ~ Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Qazi Dalan Parba 📜 The ...
